Kris’ Doves and Serpents sermon talks about denominationalism and love. But it’s sort of confusing. Still a great word. He talks about how Jesus loved and hung out with people who had a totally different moral/value system. More on covert transformation and Daniel and favor too. Loving people who don’t agree with you. Loaded sermon.
“Religion creates expectations it cannot fulfill.” (Kris mentions that lust does the same).“I just don’t like it when we do things dishonorably. We break the values of the Kingdom to demonstrate our core beliefs but we don’t bring love with us…but what we can’t break are the core values of the King to demonstrate the opinions of the Kingdom. When we do that, I’m not sure we get the support of the King.”
